The Status Page

This is the first page presented after log-in and contains much of the general-purpose functionality found in the web interface.



Hitting the Deactivate button pushes the DigiTV application on the server to the system tray, while Activate brings it out again. Hitting Refresh will update the image shown to be a current snapshot of what's currently showing on the DigiTV application.

Channels are changed simply by selecting the relevant entry in either the TV or Radio channel dropdowns.

OTR Recordings (of varying length) can be initiated from this page by selecting the record time and hitting the Start Recording button. Once a recording is in progress, a Stop Recording button will appear in case it needs to be prematurely terminated.

The power down option will use the selected method to power down your DigiTV web server machine. Because this is functionality outside the exclusive remit of DigiTV, it may be considered a security risk and so an option to remove this facility is provided in the Network Settings page.
