| You are tuned to a radio station! |
Sorry to state the obvious, but check that you are actually watching a TV station rather than a Radio station. Try selecting a different station from the
TV Channel windows menu.
If you can see video on some channels and not others, your TV signal may not be strong enough on these channels. See No Channels for some ideas on how to improve it. |
| Insufficient Display Colour Depth |
DigiTV is designed to work on display adapters with a minimum of 16 bits (High Colour) colour depth.
Try setting your screen colour depth to 16-bits, 24-bits (True Colour) or 32-bits to see if this cures the problem. You can do this by right-clicking in your desktop area, select Properties, then select the Settings tab and alter the colour depth from there. Restart DigiTV after you have clicked OK. |
| Incompatible Graphics Card |
DigiTV has been extensively tested with a range of display adapters, but in very rare circumstances, you might find that your graphics card does not
support the overlay modes used by DigiTV. This should only be a problem on older graphics cards (pre 1995).
Try visiting your card manufacturer's web-site to see if they supply an updated driver that allows your card to support overlays. Unfortunately, usually the only solution is to purchase a more modern graphics card. |
