Troubleshooting

Just Sits There

If, when you start DigiTV for the first time, it plays the introductory movie clip and then does nothing else except display the picture on the right you may have a hardware installation problem.

This behaviour is caused by the DigiTV software not being able to talk to the DigiTV hardware installed. In this mode, DigiTV will only act as a media player (you can playback previous recordings), but it will be unable to receive TV.

To investigate the problem, please open up the Device Manager and expand either the Sound, Video and Game controller section (if you own the PCI version) or the Universal Serial Bus controller section (if you own the USB version). Please ensure that the DigiTV drivers have been installed correctly and that there are no yellow exclamation marks to the left of the DigiTV entry. If you see an error by DigiTV, please try to update the driver by pointing Windows to the DigiTV drivers (if you've installed the software in the default location, it will be in C:\Program Files\Nebula\DigiTV\Drivers).

If the above does not resolve the problem, then please email us at support@nebula-electronics.com stating which device you own (ie, PCI or USB) and detail the problem. Our support team will then do their best to contact you as soon as possible to help resolve the problem.
