Usage

We've intended the use of Digital Text with DigiTV to be as simple as possible.

If you right-click in the DigiTV window to bring up the context menu, you'll see an Enable Digital Text menu item. If this is checked it means you have teletext switched on and you will automatically receive the text information if the channel you're viewing has text available. The option above it (Digital Text Channel) lists all of the teletext-only channels that you currently have tuned.

Teletext is always switched off when you start DigiTV, ie, the setting is not persisted between sessions.

Tip: You can also toggle between Digital Text On and Off using the T key on the keyboard.

While your teletext page is being loaded, you'll see Loading appear in the bottom right corner of the window. Once the initial page is fully displayed you can navigate around it using the remote control arrow buttons and colour keys, or the arrow/enter keys on your keyboard



If you change channels to a radio station or to a teletext only channel, Digital Text will automatically start up so you don't have to remember to select it to On each time. The Digital Text On or Off selection persists between channel changes, but is automatically set to off when you start DigiTV.

Tip: Hitting the Text button on the Nebula remote control (T on the keyboard) will start text on a page, and pressing Text/T again will stop it.
