Step 2: Install the Software

Open up windows explorer and and run the program Setup.exe in your CD ROM folder.

Start the Installation After a short wait for InstallShield to initialise, you should be presented with a screen similar to the one on the right. Follow the instructions given to install the DigiTV software.

Step 3: Plugging in your DigiTV USB for the first time

Please start by plugging in your aerial lead to the female tuner connector (furthest left connector).



The next step is to take the USB cable provided and insert the small square USB connector in to the socket on the furthest right of the μDigiTV unit. Please then take the other end of the USB lead and connect it to a free USB 2.0 port on your PC.

When you have finished making these connections your computer will come up with a screen detailing that new hardware has been found and that it is ready to be installed.

Select the option to Install from a list or specific location, and then press Next.

Now direct the operating system to search the DigiTV/drivers directory on the installation CD using the Browse option that appears on screen. Now click Next.

When the driver compatibility screen appears, please choose to Continue Anyway.

Now is probably a good idea to set up the remote control, so as a final step please refer to The Remote Control.
