The Tuning Settings Tab - Detailed



Current Channels

This tab will provide a complete list of all of the channels currently tuned, together with some technical information on each. The '0x' prefix on some of the values indicates that it is given in hexadecimal notation.


Single Frequency Scan

You needn't rely on autotune to find all of the channels on a VHF/UHF frequency and this tab will allow you to accomplish this on a frequency-by-frequency basis.

Simply enter the frequency of interest in the Frequency box (in MHz) and hit the Scan button. If there is a Digital TV transmission on that frequency (and the Bandwidth and Lock Gate Time are OK) DigiTV will identify the individual channels and automatically add them to your channel list if they are not already present.


Autotune exceptions

This tab allows you to customise the behaviour of the Autotune function.

By adding frequencies to the list, you can choose whether to have DigiTV ignore those frequencies, or only search those frequencies during an autotune. This can be useful if you know that there will only ever be digital TV transmissions on specific frequencies in your area, or if you specifically wish to exclude a frequency because it only contains encrypted transmissions.
