The Display Settings Tab - Logo Removal



Logo Removal

Use this function to lessen the possibility of image burn-in on projectors/plasma displays where a logo is constantly displayed for a particular channel (eg, TMF & The Hits in the UK).

Select one of the logo removal methods and use the sliders to position the removal box over the on-screen logo. This position will then be remembered each time you visit the channel. To stop the logo removal, set the removal method to 'None'.

There are curently three removal methods (although a fourth - bilinear interpolation - is due to be added soon):

Black - Simply sets the contents of the removal box to black

Average - The Colour of the removals box is set to the average of the underlying pixels
