The Channel Settings (Favourites) Tab - Tuned Channels

When your DigiTV tuned itself in to the TV and Radio stations it will have picked up all of the available broadcasts and made them available for you to select. As time goes on and more channels are added, the channel list will probably start to look a bit cluttered. To ease this problem, you can select which channels you want displayed in your day-to-day use of DigiTV and the order in which they will appear.

Channel Ordering

You can choose to have your channels ordered alphabetically, by LCN (Logical Channel Number), or in your own specific order. With alphabetic ordering you will get the usual first five channels in the first five positions (BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV 1, Channel 4 and five) and from there after they will be presented in alphabetic order. LCN Ordering means that the channels will be displayed in order of the channel number that the broadcasting authority allocates to them (the same as for existing Set-Top boxes).

Favourite channels ordering (the most versatile) allows you to select which channels you want displayed and in which order.

Setting your Favourite Channels

Just select the Favourite Channels Only option and all of the controls necessary for you to select your favourite channels will appear.

The list of all the available channels is on the left so all you have to do is drag them over to your favourites box on the right. Once there, you can reposition them anywhere in the list by dragging them to their new position.

Once you click 'OK', all channel selection menus from this point on will contain just your favourite channels. You can add to and delete from the favourites list at any time.
