Image capture is controlled from the Capture menu bar dropdown menu.
The items on this bar allow you to show or hide the image capture window (see below), and to grab a still image (Capture Frame). |

The Capture Window
When you capture an image for the first time (or select Show Capture Window) a separate window pops up with a menu bar of its own: Any frames that you capture (you can capture up to 10 at a time) will be shown in this window. You can view them at 1/8th, 1/4 or 1/2 size by using the Size dropdown menu. From the Action dropdown menu you can grab an image, save the selected image (in .bmp or .tga formats), copy an image to the clipboard (so that it can be pasted into other applications), or delete an image. |

Tip: Use the C key on your keyboard to capture images immediately. For other shortcut keys, see Shortcuts. |

Selecting an image
Every time you capture a new image, the frame is inserted at the top of the Stills Window, scrolling the other images down. Note that only 10 images are stored at any one time. The oldest images are deleted to make space for the newer ones. To select an image (for copying, saving or deleting) just left click on it. The selected picture will be displayed with a red border. Right-clicking on an image will select it and bring up the Action context menu.
