Channel Selection Overlay

Overview

Watchable channels are divided into two classes: 'TV' and 'Radio', while a third class 'Digital Text' provides information either alongside the TV or Radio programme, or by itself.

You can select a TV, Radio or Digital Text channel using several methods:

Selecting a channel Using the Keyboard

Just key in the channel number using the keypad or number keys!

Selecting a channel Using the Remote

Bringing up the main menu using the remote control will allow you to scroll down to the TV, Radio or Text options.

Select your option (using the 'OK' button on the remote) to display the available Channels, an example of which is given in the screen captures below.

Next to each of the channels is the channel number. If you know the number of the channel that you want to watch, you may key it in using the remote. Alternatively scroll up or down until the channel you want is highlighted and then hit OK.

Tip: Use the PgUp/PgDn keys (REW or FF on the remote control) to jump several channels rather than scroll through them individually.

Selecting a channel Using the Mouse

If you are sitting at the PC, you can change channels by dropping down either of the TV Channel or Radio Channel menus, as shown below:

The currently selected channel is displayed with a check-mark next to it.

If you have the DigiTV windows menus hidden (see Preferences) you can still access these menus by right clicking in the DigiTV window to bring up the context menu.
