Nebula Media Solutions SureStream is a professional DVB-t stream-monitoring solution intended for installation at transmission and repeater stations.

SureStream differs from conventional stream monitoring systems in the way it both receives and broadcasts the monitoring information.
Internal to the SureStream is a DVB-t tuner and stream demultiplexer that receives directly from the broacast signal via an external antenna rather than taking a tap from the stream before transmission. In this way,
the SureStream is guaranteed to be sampling the signal that is actually being transmitted and is therefore able to detect faults at all possible points of failure - from signal source to consumer.

Video, audio, AD and subtitling information is decoded from the channel to be monitored and is combined, resampled and transcoded to WMV format before being sent with fault information over a standard TCP/IP network to a central regional monitoring station.

At the central station, data from multiple SureStream installations can be displayed on a single screen, to form an easily readable display where fault conditions or alarms are immediately visible (an example screen is shown here on the right). This screen
can also be made available as a secure web-page allowing off-site monitoring of a large area or combination of areas.
In this way, an entire broadcast region or regions can be monitored and any system fault that is visible/audible to the consumer is also immediately visible to the network operator enabling corrective action to be taken.
