DigiTV-HD iTuner Application v3.7.00

DigiTV-HD iTuner Application (v3.7.00) is now available for download.

This version of software will run with both Nebula Electronics tuners (either with native drivers or BDA drivers installed), plus fully BDA-compatible 3rd-party tuners.

To install this software, you will need v3.1 or above of the Windows Installer Component. If in doubt, make sure your Windows XP system has been upgraded to Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Please read the release notes below carefully before downloading and installing.

The download file is a zipped version of the DigiTV-HD application installer. Extract the files to a temporary directory and run the file 'Setup.exe'.

Before installing this software

If you have DigiTV USB unit(s) connected, please disconnect them before installing. Only reconnect after the installation has completed. This will ensure that each device receives the firmware update.

You'll need to uninstall any previous versions of DigiTV before installing this new version (your old settings will be safe).

To uninstall a previous version of DigiTV, Click the Start Button in the taskbar, then select Settings, Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs. Select DigiTV from the list and click the Remove button. Alternatively select 'Uninstall DigiTV' from your Start -> Programs -> Nebula menu.

After installing this software

Please check that your country and language codes are appropriate for your location within the DigiTV application (File -> Settings -> General).

Known Issues to be addressed:

A few issues that were scheduled to be addressed in this release have been rescheduled for the next incremental release due to time constraints:

Some graphics cards cause a reported 100% CPU usage when the video-head refresh rate is set to 50Hz.
Recording ABC2 HD in Australia sometimes causes problems with data from another multiplex making its way into the very start of the recording.
Occasional S/PDIF dropouts with Realtek devices when decoding AC3 in Australia.
Occasional loss of S/PDIF sound when changing between channels that support AC3 in Australia.
Better non-IE browser compatibility for the Web Interface.

If you find a bug, or something that you think could be improved, could you please email the development team's fault database at beta@nebula-electronics.com.

If you have a BDA compatible tuner installed that doesn't appear to be supported by this version of DigiTV-HD, then please email us at bda@nebula-electronics.com stating the tuner manufacturer, type and the URL where the BDA drivers were downloaded.

Although you won't get a reply from the team directly, please rest assured that every single email that comes in will be read and its contents submitted for review.
